Does University of Iowa, Arizona, Colorado and Oregon require SAT II (subject test) scores? ?
I’ve searched their respective websites and none of them mention the SAT subject test. Is it not required?
No, only ACTs.
This is the place where you can put a brief summary of yourself. Or perhaps you have something to be shown off.

I am attending the Oregon Arizona game this week in Tucson. How does one tailgate down there… i.e. is there a certain parking lot or do you need a pass? thanks to all

I have heard that La Paz, Villa Del Puente, and Pueblo de la Cienega are the best, and that Coronado is the worst. I am applying for residency and would like to know someone’s opinion of the girls’ dorms! Please only reply if you have been to UA and have first-hand experience in their dorms!
They’ve got descriptions below but the three that you listed are on the row leading to the rec center. They’re newer, so yes, they are nicer. However I don’t believe there is a sink in any of those dorms. Gila and Yuma have sinks in the rooms and are on the other side of the student union (where the food is on campus). So really, you’ve got the choice between location and newness.
Coronado is fun filled but has a reputation for being loud. There are what? 8 stories full of freshman can do that. Good luck!
How good of a university is the U of Arizona?
I know it’s not Princeton or Harvard.
But is it among the good universities?
I am thinking of going to the College of Pharmacy they have there, so how good is there pharmacy program as well?
Thanks!
Its a fairly good school, but its very easy to get accepted into. Its defintely the best school in the state
I’m getting bored of Tucson, and I would save money on rent going to ASU (I live relatively close).
I’m just starting my second year at UofA and was hoping to transfer in the spring or next fall at the latest.
Who do I contact to help me match over my transfer credit?
A school counselor
If my brother is an alumni at the university of arizona, and is well known at that school, and if i am at a out of state community college trying to transfer there, does it help me out that he is an alumni. in what way if it does?
One brother is an alumnus. Alumni is the plural. Brothers do not usually create legacies and state schools do not usually recognize legacies.
However, your brother’s experience and knowledge can certainly make the process easier for you.
You did not state the details of his being well-known, but if he was an outstanding student and the admissions office is informed of this information, they might consider it when they read your admission essay.
Universities want students who will succeed, and if your brother is known for his success, you might have an informal legacy in your favor. However, do not write more than a few sentences about your brother. What you do write should describe how your brother inspired you, not why you are "owed" something on account of your brother, of course.
Good luck.
I’m a high school senior in Florida & I’m trying to decide if Alabama University or Arizona state is worth the out-of-state tuition. As far as the students go & making friends. Any suggestions?
Both of my parents and my older sister are faithful ASU alumni. But my cousin and his family went to Alabama. ASU has a lot to offer, depending on what you are looking for. If you are worried about making friends, ASU had the largest student body in the nation last year but there are so many smaller groups of people with common intrests that you could fit in with. It has loyal football, basketball, baseball and golf programs and players. The weather is fantastic in the winter, bearly a rainy day and never snow, but snow is just a two hour drive away. We are five hours from the beach and near the fifth biggest city in the country. The writing school is phenomenal and the honors college is as tough as Harvard. I can answer any questions about the school you need, but everyone I know who has attended has had a great time.
flip a coin. Both are accredited engineering schools, and it doesn’t matter which school you go to to get an engineering degree, as long as it is accredited. You should check the school’s web sites and see if there is a focus or emphasis that one school has that sounds more appealing to you personally, or if one campus suits you better, or look at what it will cost you. Jobs in engineering in AZ have been tough to come by for years - that might be something to consider.
That’s against the law - welcome to 2009!
Does anybody know the away fans section for university of arizona home football games? If so please let me know! thanks
