I currently live in Long Island, New York and I’m looking to go to college in a warmer place because I simply cannot bear NY winter months but unfortunately I think that the college I applied to (northern arizona university) is located in a not so warm part of Arizona.
NAU is not for you
People who love winter sports are drawn to Flagstaff with its Snowbowl ski resort. It’s definitely located in a cold climate. ASU in Phoenix would be the warmest if you can tolerate our hot summers (takes a while to acclimate) and U of A in Tucson would be slightly cooler.

Hey all. I’m currently a sophomore attending a community college with a 3.4 GPA.
I was taking 18 credit hours and I took a class through another local community college and ended up getting an F. I have never failed a class before, my lowest grade has been a B.
I want to transfer to arizona state university in the fall.. Do you think my F will affect my chances in getting admitted?
Thanks in advance!
It makes you a marginal candidate. Take the class over again so a higher grade gets recorded instead.

Okay so I live in Atlant, Georgia, I really want to go to arizona state university for Radiology. Right now I’m saving up money to get me to Arizona and get me started. So I decided I can go to community college and take an eight mouth cores like my sisters doing. What class should I take that will make it easier for me to get into ASU Department of Radiology.
What is your career goal? I don’t see where ASU has a radiology program.

I have a college research paper to do. It’s my final for this semester and it’s due next Monday. I couldn’t find any resources to write about the campus life(it’s required).
I know U of A is a honor college but I don’t know what to write about.
If you study in the university of arizona, please answer my question. It would be a BIG help.
I am currently at the UofA (graduating in May 2010!), and campus life tries its hardest… Campus life has gone under since the last two concerts racked up enormous debt. I’m sure there’s always something going on…but lately, there has been small events like an art show that supposed to "connect" Tucson to France (really…?). Homecoming wasn’t too long ago, and that event is large-scale lasting about a week long, but it doesn’t really get going until the week end with the tents and the game. I enjoyed it because I got to see a lot of people that I don’t normally see…ergo, the point of homecoming. I usually look to off-campus opportunities. Pitbull is coming tomorrow (Tuesday), and I think I’ll get to that concert. A good source for what’s going on oncampus is the school newspaper: The Wildcat. Maybe you can look that up on the website.
I’m in the Honors College, too. They’re always doing stuff, but I think the best thing about it is that you can register for classes early. They also have supportive meetings/informationals about big-name scholarships. Regarding activity, the Honors College hosts movie nights and plays (where the actors are honors students).
Another big thing is research! The reason I chose this school is the research, and I have noticed that there are a number of opportunities to present research or see other peers present theirs (Undergraduate Biology Research Program Poster Presentation…this January, Graduate and Professional Student Council Poster Presentation (Homecoming)).
I’m sure other people do more…

I just applied to Arizona State and realized my major is at the West campus which isnt the main campus. Is west less fun, and less of the college experience?
There is no difference, its a party school…go to school, get a education, try to get good grades, graduate, and the get on with your life…Schools not about partying, school is about making something of your life and becoming something…

recently i was accepted into the university of arizona. now after already being accepted into my first choice how do i tell arizona that im not interested. other colleges that ive been accepted to have given me the choice to accept or deny admission but arizona doesnt.
Send a postal letter thanking them for admission and telling them that you have decided to attend another university. Do not name the other university. Be sure your name, address, U of A ID number, if any, and the date of the letter are on the letter. Sign the letter. Keep a photocopy of it. Mail the original to U of A.
Congratulations on the admission which you accepted.

in the U.S. as well?
and should i choose a better ranked school if NAU is not good enough and would not be able to get me into a top law school?
if you are wanting to go to a top 6 law school you need to pull damn great grades. you need to ask yourself why you want to go to a top law school? do you want a big law job upon graduation? if so, then you need to go somewhere that you can pull really great grades, possibly somewhere you have friends with a test bank.
