Benign prostatic hyperplasia can affect the quality of your life and how you plan out your day. When ever you go anywhere new in your daily life you are on the look out for the nearest bathroom. Frequent urination is now a fact of life and when you need to go you need to go. So you do not want, at that time, to be searching for the bathroom. So now everywhere you go you make sure you know the location of the nearest bathroom. Has your benign prostatic hyperplasia now changed your quality of life? Instead of concentrating on your grandchild’s up coming at bat in little league you now have to decide if you can hold out until the child bats.

As a woman, I do not know a lot about mens’ health. It is not something that I usually have to deal with. However, my husband does and I want to help him as much as I can, so I am curious about some symptoms. I have been reading up on enlarged prostate. My husband has been needing to pee a lot. When I ask him about it he says that it is normal, but I am not so sure. I think he is afraid that he is getting old and does not want to admit it. However, I want to help him.
