As a transfer will i get into Arizona State University for the Fall 2010 semester?

Written by admin on Feb 2nd, 2010 | Filed under: arizona state university

I am halfway through my sophomore year at Sacred Heart University with a 3.11 GPA and a 1150(reading and math) on my SAT’s. i had like a 3.3 gpa in high school if that matters. I looking to go to the business program. any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Yes you will get in. ASU has a 92% acceptance rate… pretty much everyone gets in. It’s even a little higher for transfer students. With that..plus you have a pretty solid GPA, there is basically no question as to whether you’ll get in or not.

  2. Mike E is right in that it is easy to get into ASU as far as genreal admissions goes, but if you want to get into the business school at Tempe (W.P. Carey) then you have to meet some minimum requirements for both transfers and freshmen. W.P. is pretty competitive and their admission requirements are pretty strict. You need at least a 3.0 gpa and an 1160 SAT for direct admissions. If you don’t get in directly you can submit a portfolio which mainly consists of a short essay explaining why your gpa or test scores don’t accurately reflect how you would do. Your SAT score isn’t too far off from what they are asking for and your gpa is good enough so I’d say you have a pretty good chance of getting in. It’s are pretty good school, is very well recognized and a lot of companies like to recruit here.
