People voted for a nebulous idea of “hope” and “change.” Many of them thought the Republicans were still in control of Congress, even after the 2006 elections. Obama is, and remains, an empty suit.

Lawrence Douglas Wilder who recvd it for being the first African-American governor. John Christian, A long-serving lawyer and community activist.
