Written by admin on Mar 31st, 2009 | Filed under: university of arizona

I think the coach of gonzaga but I would love to see calipari leave memphis. Arizona has a history of winning and the prestige to demand a high caliber coach.

It should be a big name coach, i like calipari as well.

What are the requirements to get accepted into University of Northern Arizona?

Written by admin on Mar 31st, 2009 | Filed under: northern arizona university

I want to go there to study paleontology.

here's a link I found:
http://home.nau.edu/admissions/apply/admissreq.aspe
I would also highly recommend going to the Grand Canyon. Walk all the way down to the bottom and pay attention to the way the earth changes. You'll learn more there than in any university. It's about a two-hour drive from Flagstaff.

I am going to Arizona State University and I don't know which major to choose, can somebody help?

Written by admin on Mar 31st, 2009 | Filed under: arizona state university

Well the two majors I'm deciding from is Computer Science under Computer & Information Sciences and Computer Engineering under Engineering.
Which is the difference between them and what jobs can I get with them.
I really want to study something that has to do with computers but I'm not sure what to choose I have weeks to decide before I go to Orientation.

you can either choose one as your major and the other as your minor or double major in both. otherwise i wouldnt freak out about not deciding between the two going into a orientation. if you get the time you should meet with an advisor. also suggest the second link below and see if both of these majors require the same classes. if so it would make it easier to major in both. check with this catalog link if they do

Can I get into Arizona University?

Written by admin on Mar 31st, 2009 | Filed under: arizona universities

I have a gpa of 3.0. I scored a 20 on the act. Will Arizona University accept me? I also play soccer and tennis for the varsity teams at my high school.

First you should know that 80 percent of their applicants get accepted so no matter what you have a good chance. Here's their GPA breakdown for accepted students:
* 24% had h.s. GPA of 3.75 and higher
* 19% had h.s. GPA between 3.5 and 3.74
* 18% had h.s. GPA between 3.25 and 3.49
* 17% had h.s. GPA between 3.0 and 3.24
* 18% had h.s. GPA between 2.5 and 2.99
* 3% had h.s. GPA between 2.0 and 2.49
* 1% had h.s. GPA between 1.0 and 1.99
As you can see your GPA puts you at a good chance to gain acceptance, however, your ACT is what hurts you. Retake it this fall and get your score up to at least a 22, try taking some ACT prep classess. If you raise your score you most likely will get in. Good Luck!

Can i get into Florida state university or University of Arizona with these grades?

Written by admin on Mar 30th, 2009 | Filed under: university of arizona

I am an international student currently studying in Intl School of Choueifat, UAE. I got 1600 in my SAT, 100 in TOEFL and average grades in my school. Do I have a chance of getting into FSU or UofA.
Also what about University of Texas at Austin.

The University of Texas at Austin will be tough for you since it does not admit so many international students. In contrast, Florida state will be a possible choice. About UA, you have a chance to get in, but you have to do more with application. Good luck.

thanks for the link bluedog, unfortunately there weren't any reviews for NAU. :-/

The university staff is pretty nice. Flagstaff gets all four seasons so there will be a lot of snow in the winter. The campus is older but beautiful.

What are the application deadlines for Arizona State University, and University of Arizona?

Written by admin on Mar 30th, 2009 | Filed under: arizona universities

I can't find them on CollegeBoard.com or the official websites of the universities for 2008, I am a senior in high school and I am going to schedule an appointment with my counselor sometime this week but I want to know right now. Thanks in advance!

For ASU, you could have started in July to submit an application. If you want merit based scolarships you need to be submitted before December 1, 2007. If not, then the deadline is February 1st, 2008.

I couldn't find anything for U of A, but I would imagine it is very similar to ASU.
