arizona colleges
I want an associates degree in an Auto Body collision repair type class, and I'm trying to find a college in Arizona that has it.
UTI or Universal Technical Institute. They have a campus in the Avondale/Phoenix area.

university of arizona
I am suspicious that this person is lying to me about graduating from arizona state university. Does anyone know if alumni lists are available online or how I could know for sure?
When I worked in credentialing, we had to have the permission of someone (the person we are requesting the information on) before requesting verification of their degree. Most schools now use studentclearinghouse.com or something along those lines (and for a fee). There are some, however, where you can verify the information right over the phone by contacting the school's registrar's office.

phoenix arizona education
I was told Gilbert had the best schools in the whole state of AZ so we moved there. My 5th grader goes to Gilbert El and I am not happy with the work he is bringing home. He's learning what he already learned in NY in the 3rd grade! Please help!! We will move wherever my children can get the best Education. Maybe that is out of Arizona altogether. That remains to be seen! Thank you!
Arizona schools in general s**k unfortunately. The best districts are Kyrene (Ahwatukee) and Scottsdale Public. I'm not sure who suggested Gilbert was. You don't have to move as long as you are willing to drive every day. AZ has an open enrollment policy so your kids can go anywhere not just where you live, and there are heaps of open enrollment charter schools around.
My daughter has been attending a fairly new free public charter school that I have been reasonablely pleased with so far, definitely different than the work I would expect from a public school. It is just outside Ahwatukee at 51st St & Elliot - Ahwatukee Foothills Prep. I know several moms that drive in from Chandler, Gilbert, and even Queen Creek because of the schools in their own neighborhoods being so bad. The key really is to find schools with good teachers. Also it is not surprising to me that Kyrene & Scottsdale also have the largest percentage of educated involved parents.
Check out this website. It is a great way to review schools.

If you want to spring for a private school (about $450/mo + after care if needed), there is one in Mesa that I've heard great things about called Dobson Montessori. The 8:1 student/ teacher ratio is amazing alone.

northern arizona university
I live in PA and considering applying to northern arizona university as a transfer student. However, I have read a few negative reviews on bad advisors for transfer students. Would really like to go here but if I'm going to be wasting money and time because of bad advisors then I may reconsider. Is it really as bad as they say it is? Thanks.
I live in Phx but went up to see the campus on one of their 'orientation' days or something like that. But they have them scheduled at different times of the year. They show you all over the campus, the dorms, different buildings, and they serve you lunch! Its an amazing campus, I plan on going there after I get my associates degree. If you're able to get there for an orientation you can ask to speak with an advisor for transfer students. Most of the time, if you get along they'll be able to help you through the whole proccess. I would reccomend going to an orientation of any school that you're considering attending.
Good Luck!… Maybe I'll see you there!

arizona state university
How am I suppost to know if universtiy of oregon or texas tech isn't better for me. I am not worried about cost, just about finding the right school for me. so if you go to Arizona State or any other university PLEASE give me some prespective of things
I graduated from ASU with my BS in Physics so I don't know exactly, but ASU is okay in general. I suspect Texas might be better academically but the school of engineering at ASU is supposed to be pretty strong. I guess it depends on many factors- where you live now, your (anticipated) lifestyle, tuition, etc, etc. I do know that Univ of Ariz is supposed to have a very strong Chem Eng program in particular, but then again, you'd have to live in Tucson… If you'd like to talk about this in more detail, give me an email:
